oruta is the pride and joy of the Anykščių Vynas winery – a brand featuring products that are made from natural, local, well-known, quality ingredients. In developing a new bitters containing berries and herbs that everyone knows well in the Nordic region, there was no doubt that this product should be named Voruta Berries & Herbs. Voruta Berries & Herbs bitters are a harmonious and rich combination of berry and herb flavours.
Aromatic, with the flavour of ripe, sweet blackcurrants, and seasoned with fragrant thyme and lemongrass. This untraditional combination of berries and herbs traditional to our region gives these special bitters a unique aroma and an exceptionally rich flavour. For the production of this bitters, concentrated blackcurrant juice is used, which is mixed with various herbal infusions and other ingredients. Then the product is chilled, filtered and bottled.
We recommend serving the bitters up in small snifters, or as part of a cocktail.
